For that reason, our engine diagnostics are evidence-led. Smoke testing, pressure testing or compression checks are used where the symptom calls for them.
Wet belts and engine protection
Ford belt-in-oil engines require the correct oil and timely maintenance. A deteriorating belt can shed material into the pickup strainer and reduce oil flow. The standard interval used across this site is 5 years or 70,000 miles, whichever comes first, subject to the correct schedule for the individual vehicle.

Trafford Park and Stretford connect differently from Sale and Altrincham, so check current M60 conditions rather than relying on a fixed estimate. All work is carried out in Oldham. Collection can sometimes be arranged on request, but it is not guaranteed with every booking.

Yes. We carry out our own testing and show you the evidence. Sometimes it confirms the original assessment, and sometimes the fault turns out to be far less serious.
Do you send photos of what you find?
Yes. We photograph the key findings during a strip so you can see the condition of the engine for yourself before deciding what to do.
Genuine or aftermarket timing kits?

Do you look after business vehicles?
